Around fifty countries participate in the Erasmus+ program or, at least, in some of its actions. In fact, going on Erasmus is no longer limited to travel within the European Union, but the destination can be outside its borders, as long as the country is in the lists below. Check all the information you need about the countries participating in the Erasmus Program, choose your destination and start preparing your trip!
Erasmus+ partner countries can only participate in certain actions of the program, as long as they meet the requirements specified in each of them and can be provided with a budget – in this sense, mobility actions between Erasmus+ countries are a priority.
If you choose to go on Erasmus to a partner country, please note that you cannot apply for the Erasmus+ grant (this is exclusive to the program countries), although you can apply for other types of aid. Check with your university to find out which ones and to which destinations you can travel.
Where is it easier to pass Erasmus?
Because of the similarity with the language, Portugal and Italy are probably the countries where it may be easier to prepare for the exams, although the fact that in Italy some of the exams must be oral is something that inhibits some exchange students.
What level do I need to go on Erasmus?
To study abroad with Erasmus+ you must be enrolled in a higher education institution and in studies leading to a recognized degree or tertiary level qualification. Undergraduate students must be in at least the second year of studies.
Where are there more Erasmus in Spain?
The positions are led by the cities of Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and Seville, which remain in the top 10 of the cities preferred by Erasmus students in Spain.
